About Little Stars Academy
Baltara Pratisthan's co-educational day school in Balambu, Chandragiri-12, Kathmandu. Founded in 2049 BS, educating children from Play Group to Grade 10.
Over three decades of schooling in Chandragiri
Little Stars Academy was established in 2049 BS by a group of young academicians. They believed that a school should be a place where children are known by name, taught with patience, and encouraged to ask questions. From the start, the school has been a co-educational day school built around student-centered learning.
The school grew quietly and steadily through the years, earning the trust of families in Balambu and the surrounding areas of Chandragiri. In 2072 BS the school moved into new, spacious infrastructure, a sign of that growth, and a promise to keep improving what students and teachers have available to them.
Today the school runs under Baltara Pratisthan and serves children from Play Group through Grade 10, guided by a principal, Damodar Poudyal, and a team of teachers who live and work in this community.
Recognized as the #1 ranked school in Chandragiri Municipality
The school has been certified as the #1 ranked school in Chandragiri by the Municipality, year after year, a mark of the trust this community places in our legacy of educational excellence.
