School rules and regulations

These expectations keep the school day orderly, safe and respectful. They are shared with families at admission and reviewed as needed during the year.

Attendance

School hours

The school day runs from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Students must arrive by 9:30 AM.

Leaving school and absences

  • No student may leave during school hours without prior permission.
  • Absences must be reported to the school reception or the class teacher by 9:00 AM.

Code of conduct

Language and communication

  • Use respectful language at all times.
  • Communicate in English while in school uniform, both on and off school premises.
  • Greet everyone with courtesy and respect.

Student behaviour

Any student involved in violence, dishonesty, bullying, theft, vandalism, possession of harmful substances, or any other form of misconduct will face immediate expulsion or rustication. Such behaviour is not tolerated under any circumstances.

Dress code and grooming

Uniform expectations

The school formal dress must be well-ironed, neat and tidy. Formal school bags and prescribed shoes are required. Tight or narrow trousers, fashionable hairstyles, makeup, henna, hair dye and jewelry are prohibited. Non-compliance results in strict action.

Grooming

  • Boys: short hair (army cut) with proper side parting.
  • Girls: hair tied in two braids with ribbons.

Learning materials

Books and stationery

Care for books

Textbooks and exercise books must be maintained with care.

School diary and stationery

  • Carry the school diary daily, with regular signatures from the parent or guardian for effective communication.
  • All stationery must be brought daily; borrowing is not permitted.
Food and health

Healthy eating policy

No junk food

Junk food and packed food are strictly prohibited at school.

Balanced meals

Strong emphasis is placed on balanced and nutritious meals to support students' health and well-being. The school cafeteria serves hygienic, balanced meals.

Lost and found, feedback and suggestions

Lost and found

Lost items are stored securely. Students should report promptly with a clear description. While every effort is made to help, the return of all items cannot be guaranteed.

Feedback and suggestions

Parents are encouraged to share concerns or suggestions directly with the office, to maintain a positive and respectful school environment. The school is a second home for your child, and your support is highly valued.
